Policy and Planning Case Studies

 

The following policy and planning case studies may assist local governments, non governments and community organisations in developing their own physical activity policy and plans.

The Heart Foundation also has a range of case studies available from their website including details of projects completed by previous winners of the Local Government Awards program involving Planning for Active Living and Employee Health and Wellbeing.

The City of Belmont identified the need to develop a Physical Activity and Healthy Eating Plan that met the needs of the community and improved awareness of health, social, safety and economic benefits of physical activity and nutrition.
