City of Fremantle: Women On The Go

The City of Fremantle identified women as a key target group to improve levels of physical activity and healthy eating. A ten week course involving participating being introduced to new physical activities options in the local community and education in the importance of nutrition and physical activity.

Shire of Harvey: Super Skate

With many children inactive after school the Shire of Harvey introduced 'Super Skate', a safe, physically active social outing for primary school aged children which also resulted in many adults enjoying casual skating.

Shire of Katanning: At Risk Populations

With a very diverse multicultural community the Shire of Katanning sought to expand on existing programs to improve regular participation in physical activity. This involved targeting those community members not already engaged in physical activity and structured sport by removing barriers to participation.

Town of Narrogin: Active Seniors

With a high number of seniors in the area, the Town of Narrogin established an active seniors group to encourage residents (including CaLD and indigenous members of the community) to participate in physical activity with the assistance of community groups.
