Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework and Active Living

Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework and Active Living

In Western Australia, as per the Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework being introduced, all local governments will be required to produce a minimum 10 year Strategic Community Plan informed by community aspirations.

The Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework provides a process for local governments to “develop strategic planning systems that deliver accountable and measurable linkages between community aspirations, financial capacity and practical service delivery.”

The Premier's Council for Active Living (NSW) has developed guidance for local governments on how to address active living principles and practices as they prepared and implemented a mandatory Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework.

Addressing Active Living through Councils' Integrated Planning and Reporting Framework provides assistance in how to focus and reflect active living matters as a priority through Council's strategic planning processes.

Please also visit the Premier's Council for Active Living website for further information.
