Active Living in Your Neighbourhoods Breakfast Seminar

The Physical Activity Taskforce conducted the Active Living in Your Neighbourhoods breakfast on Tuesday 25 October, targeted at Local Government decision makers.

The seminar attracted over 65 attendees, including many Local Government Elected Members, Chief Executive Officers and Directors from Perth metropolitan and surrounding councils, along with a host of Taskforce stakeholders.

The key note speakers at the breakfast were:

  • Mr Mark Fenton - a dynamic transportation, planning and public health consultant with an engineering background from the United States of America. For more information on Mark Fenton and his work please visit his website.
  • Professor Fiona Bull - a leading academic, recognised for her work on physical activity and public health and her contribution to research and practice in this field in Australia and the United Kingdom.
