Whilst the Physical Activity Taskforce is not involved with providing grant funds it can help provide resources to assist groups and organisations with funding applications. For more information, contact the Coordinator Physical Activity Projects at the Physical Activity Taskforce Secretariat.
The Taskforce has also identified a number of alternative funding sources which may be helpful for groups or organisations wanting to become involved or continue to be involved in promoting physical activity.
Previously, the Taskforce partnered with the Western Australian Local Government Association and Lotterywest to offer the Local Activity Grants for community-based physical activity initiatives between 2003-2009. Work undertaken through this project may provide great information for other groups and organisations interested in administering physical activity projects.
