Be Active WA Ambassadors

Nineteen high profile Western Australians have joined the push to urge adults and children across the state to get off the couch and be active through the formation of a group of ‘be active wa Ambassadors’.

With His Excellency, The Governor, Dr Ken Michael AC as Patron, the group works alongside the Taskforce to help champion physical activity in their respective spheres of influence.

As well known and respected members of our community the ‘be active wa Ambassadors’ are expected to draw much needed attention to the issue of physical inactivity and help to inspire and motivate action within the community.

Be inspired and follow in the footsteps of one of the ‘be active wa Ambassadors’ by undertaking one of their Physical Activity Programmes.
